About Ka Pā Hula Kalama O Haʻaheo
Our Hālau
Founded in 2019, Ka Pā Hula Kalama O Haʻaheo has been providing high-quality hula and ʻori tahiti education to the community. Over the years, we have grown into a thriving hālau (school) with a strong reputation for excellence in music and dance training. We welcome kāne and wāhine who have the desire to learn various tradtional and current aspects of these Polynesian arts.
Our Kumu Hula
Kumu Hula Haʻaheo Asuncion Ka Pā Hula Kalama O Haʻaheo has been studying the art of hula for 29 years under the tutelage of Loea Hula Naomi Kalama under whom his ʻuniki took place on the island of Kauaʻi. His guidance in ʻori tahiti is credited to nā Raʻatira Marlo Caramat, Anthony Manaois and Joel Burns.
